NOTW Julep's Cher, Shailene over Kleancolor's Black nail Polish

I know that my cuticles are not up to par...don't judge. I'm working on it! Anywhoo...I wanted to pair a duo that looked a bit glam, a bit dark and all Fall. Here's my creation:

I painted my entire nails with one coat of Kleancolor's Black nail polish.

I then applied one coat of Julep's Cher--which is a GORGEOUS green glitter.

After it dried completely, I applied a bit of scotch tape diagonally across my nail and filled in the open space with Julep's Shailene.

For the thumb nails, I applied 2 pieces of tape--so that I had a triangle shape. I filled in the open space with Shailene.

I ended up REALLY liking these, however it took forever to photograph them in the best lighting so that one could tell a difference between the 2 shades. They both are rather dark, and in most lighting the colors look one and the same. But in the sunshine, it's a unique and glittery duo!

What are your fave nail polish duos for Fall?

NOTW World Map Nails!

So I tried to do a water-spotted look and it ended up looking like a map!? How cool is THAT?

The products I used are:

Julup's Jeanne
Maybelline's Bold Gold
A Color Club duochrome that didn't have a name. :/ It's a yellow to green shifting shade.

What do you guys think? I used different items than your typical "water-spotting" nail tutorials, so I will make a tutorial very soon showing you guys exactly how I got the shapes that I did!

NOTD Kleancolor Blue w/ Multi-colored Sparkles and Golden Underside!

Super fun colors! I first applied a coat on the Kleancolor Matte in Sensual Lagoon, one coat of Shooting Star, and then I painted the underside of my nail with Maybelline's Color Show in Bold Gold to "hide" my nail tips.

What do you guys think of this combination? Have any of you tried any of Kleancolor's nail polishes? If so, what did you think of them?

NOTD 6/8/14

I work on the phones at work, and sometimes it can be pretty boriiiing. I often paint my nails at work inbetween calls to keep myself entertained. I grabbed 2 colors before I left for work today, and I couldn't decide which one to use--so I used both of them.

The Products:
Kleancolor Matte in Lush Blue
Color Club (no name on bottle, duo chrome green/blue)

On to the Pictures!

Matte polishes are in this year, and there's nothing like a little bit of shine to attract a bit of attention!
Have you tried either of these polishes? If so, would you recommend them?

NOTD (6/2/14) Hard Candy and KleanColor

One of the many benefits of having the job that I do, is being able to take my time and paint my nails at work, ha ha. Well today I chose 1 coat of "Black" from Kleancolor and I applied a Hard Candy shade in Party Lights on top with 2 coats to get an almost "sequin" effect. It was so pretty!

Kleancolor is my fave nail polish brand EVER, and this was the first Hard Candy polish I've tried. Do you guys have any fave shades from these brands?

NOTD Black Multicolored Glitter Nail Tips!

This is my first actual "NOTD" or "Nails of the Day" Post. I can't wait to share how I do my nails with you guys! I always buy my products on eBay and it may cost me maybe $0.50-$1.00 each time I do my own gels. This is a fraction of the cost that you'd fork over at a salon and it's SO FRIGGIN EASY.

I'm in the process of making tutorials to upload for you guys, and I will absolutely be making one of how I did this set!

On to the picture:

I purchased the nail tips pre-glittered from eBay HERE.

I just glued them on and applied my gel. So easy, effortless and I was finished in no time!

I loved these so much that I'm going to try out a few other nail tips from this seller. I paid less than $3.00 for 50 nails, and they are SO beautiful! How do you guys do your nails? What products do you prefer?
